Shelf indexes each piece of text that appears within the application and makes it searchable. This includes: file titles, descriptions, text inside of documents/images, and the comments section of each Gem page.
Shelf does not index the contents of audio or video files at this time, but it does index the meta data associated with these files (title, description, etc.)
