How to Comment on a Gem | Shelf Help Center

Shelf has four user roles - Admin, Collaborator, Member, and View Only. All 4 user roles have the ability to add a comment to a Gem.*

To add a comment, click the Comments tab on the right side of the page, type your comment in the text box, and click the Comment button.

*Admin Users have the ability to grant view and edit access for commenting. For example, some users may be able to view all comments, others may be able to view and add their own comments, or this may not be visible to any users depending on the purpose the comments intend to serve for your organization.
