At this time, Shelf does not allow you to make edits to a document, spreadsheet, or presentation from within the platform. We recommend the following approaches if you wish to make edits to document, spreadsheet, or presentation that is already in Shelf:
If uploaded directly to Shelf:
Download the file
Make the necessary edits
Click the Edit icon and attach the updated file
If synced from a cloud account:
Click on the link to get to the file in question
Make any edit in the platform where the file was originally created
Wait a moment or two and those changes will be reflected in Shelf through the magic of the sync!
